What is Summit?

Summit, or OCIA, is a year-long course offered by the OSU Newman Center that walks participants through the beliefs and practices of the Catholic Church. This course is designed for those seeking to enter the Catholic Church, but begins with an exploratory period where participants can ask questions and discern whether they will take the next step and enter the Church. OCIA stands for the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults.

OCIA Meets Thursdays From 6-7 PM beginning on October 17th At the Newman Center

Note: Registration is not a commitment to join the Roman Catholic Church. The first section of the course is an inquiry period open to those who want to learn more and are discerning the possibility of becoming Catholic.
