Newman Lecture - The Catholic Faith & Evolution (In Person)
Dr. Dan Kuebler- Dan is a Professor of Biology at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, where he teaches courses on evolution, cell physiology, and science and faith. He is the co-host with Catherine Hadro (EWTN) of the Purposeful Lab Podcast, a podcast that focuses on examining the order and purpose inherent in the world around us. Dan is the co-author of The Evolution Controversy: A Survey of Competing Theories (Baker Academic, 2007) and another forthcoming book on Evolution and Catholicism (Word on Fire Press). He has written both academic and popular articles on issues related to science, religion and ethics. He is Vice-President of the Society of Catholic Scientists and is on the board of the Spitzer-Magis Center. He has been married to his wife Nellie for 26 years and has six kids and resides in Steubenville Ohio.

Dr. Christopher Kaczor is Chair of the Department of Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University and the Honorary Professor for the Renewal of Catholic Intellectual Life at Bishop Barron’s Word on Fire Institute. He is the author of sixteen books, including Jordan Peterson, God, and Christianity: The Search for a Meaningful Life. His research on issues of ethics, philosophy, and religion has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, National Review, NPR, BBC, EWTN, ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, MSNBC, and the Today Show.
